I had to move over to the right because my exit was coming up, and sure enough, as soon as I put on my turn signals all the cars to my right sped up to not let me in. Bastards! What is it that triggers people to do this? Maybe because turn signals are typically red or orange - elicits anger when other drivers see them flashing... Maybe turn signals should be blue or green - or some other color that is scientifically proven to give people pause when it is flashing....
